
I am a 3D artist with a bachelors degree in Animation from Brigham Young University. I specialize in digital modeling; however, I also enjoy texturing/shading and have a basic knowledge of all other areas of 3D production.
My experience as a 3D artist extends into both the video game and animation/film industries. I have worked for Disney Interactive Studios (at Avalanche Software) in the character department. At Avalanche Software I was responsible for creating characters and other assets for the video game Toy Story 3. I have also worked at Reel FX studios in the modeling department. While at Reel FX I built a variety of props, environments, characters, and other assets for films such as Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer, video for the Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem ride, and Free Birds. Because I have worked in both the video game and animation/film industries, I understand what goes into the creation of characters, props, environments, and other assets. Having built a variety of models, I am confident in my ability to build whatever may come my way.
I am very self-motivated and constantly push myself to get better. I love learning new things and set apart time often to improve my skills and workflows. I also enjoy sharing and teaching what I know with others. When I am not creating 3D art, I enjoy working out and spending time with family.
